Thanks to all the wonderfully sexy people who braced the Bank Holiday rain and made this year's spring edition of Velvet Tongue one of the busiest and most exciting to date. The features were as fantastic as expected (and beyond). And, not to be left behind, the open-micers surely kept the standards high. Pleased also that everyone on the open mic list who turned up got the chance to read, including those on the reserve list. And the audience was as gorgeous, warm and enthusiastic as ever. It got really hot and sweaty in the basement of Bar Kick... Velvet Tongue will be back on Monday 28 July 2014. Details coming soon.
